Job Overview: The Regional HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in the effective management of the Regional HR function within the NRC. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive support to hosted staff, pooled global staff, and the ESA Regional team. The coordinator ensures that NRC HR policies and strategies are implemented consistently and in compliance with organizational standards. This role involves advising the Regional Director and the Regional Head of Operational Support on various human resource matters, thereby contributing to the overall effectiveness of the regional team. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Regional HR Coordinator include developing HR statistics and quarterly dashboards to support data-driven decision-making for the regional team management. The coordinator is responsible for coordinating HR procedures across the employee lifecycle, including induction and exit processes for both national and mobile staff. This involves ensuring Duty of Care and managing HR administrative matters in collaboration with the P&O Partner, Global HR, and Head Office HR. The coordinator will regularly update the Regional HR intranet pages to ensure accuracy and relevance, as well as archive HR documents for proper organization and easy retrieval. Additionally, the coordinator serves as the focal point for the implementation and coordination of the PEOPLE HR system in the regional office, supporting the performance management process and providing user support. Specific responsibilities also include leading HR development projects, overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes, managing staff benefits, monitoring performance management cycles, and providing support in employee relations matters.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, particularly in complex and volatile contexts. Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities are essential. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory, along with excellent ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases. Professional knowledge and experience in HR and information management are considered assets, and professional certification in Human Resources is an added advantage. Attention to detail and a system-oriented approach are crucial for this role.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field.
