Job Overview: The Budget Manager position at IFC is a critical role that provides strategic and operational leadership in resource planning, budget oversight, and procurement for teams operating across South Asia, East Asia, South West Asia, and the Pacific Islands. This position is designed to support the Regional Vice President and the Regional Management Team by leading a budget team that facilitates IFC’s operations in these dynamic regions. The Budget Manager will act as a strategic finance partner, advising on budget formulation and internal controls, and will be responsible for overseeing business planning deliverables, ensuring effective resource management, and fostering a high-performing team.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Budget Manager include acting as a strategic finance partner to Regional Directors and their leadership teams, leading the implementation of budget reforms, overseeing business planning deliverables, ensuring compliance with WBG and IFC policies, and coordinating with WBG teams on matters related to real estate, procurement, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security. They should have a minimum of 12 to 15 years of progressively responsible experience in resource management, business finance, or related roles. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to lead and manage large, geographically dispersed teams, foster innovation, and guide staff through problem-solving and feedback. A superior understanding of IFC and WBG resource management processes, systems, and policies is essential, along with demonstrated experience in leading cross-institutional resource management reforms.
