Job Overview:

The role requires the implementation of design specifications on-site and active participation in the coordination, monitoring, and continuous improvement of works across various infrastructures, including roads, networks, buildings, and technical galleries. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing work requests related to civil engineering, including roads, networks, and buildings, specifically focusing on concrete and metal structures, building envelopes, surface buildings, underground structures, and technical galleries. Key responsibilities include coordinating and following up on construction and renovation works, ensuring close cooperation with internal customers and contractors, and overseeing various technical and secondary trades. The engineer will monitor the enforcement of safety rules, assess the quality of contractors' work, and ensure that all works are executed according to best practices and technical specifications. Additionally, the role involves contributing to budget follow-up and project coordination, which includes checking quotes, following up on orders, validating final measurements established by contractors, and utilizing CERN's computer tools for project management.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an initial experience or academic background in building or underground structure construction, maintenance, or renovation. A first exposure to planning, organizing, and coordinating various trades is essential. Knowledge of site measurements and cost control, as well as an understanding of quality standards and site safety control, is required. Educational Background:

The educational background should be complemented by a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation by the application deadline.
