The intern will assist in creating multimedia content for promotional purposes and maintain organized archives of podcast materials. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including:
Supporting the production of the 'Awake at Night' podcast by planning, recording, editing, and publishing episodes.
Monitoring best practices in podcasting and providing recommendations for improvement.
Conducting research to identify opportunities for audience growth and strategic outreach.
Drafting compelling biographies for podcast guests.
Capturing behind-the-scenes content during podcast production and events.
Assisting in the creation of engaging multimedia content for social media promotion.
Maintaining organized archives of podcast episodes and promotional materials.
Contributing to brainstorming sessions for future episodes and campaigns.
Assisting with additional tasks related to the OUSG as assigned.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a student in their final year of a bachelor's degree, or enrolled in a master's or Ph.D. program, or have completed such a program.
No prior professional work experience is required, but a field of study related to the internship is necessary.
Demonstrated interest in podcasting is essential.
Familiarity with video and photo editing is desirable.
Experience with social media in a professional context is a plus.
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Trello, PowerPoint, or Adobe Photoshop is desirable.
