Job Overview: The ICLA Technical Officer (KOBLI) plays a crucial role in the operational implementation and management of NRC Bangladesh's digital initiatives, particularly focusing on the KOBLI digital platform. This position is integral to enhancing digital legal service delivery, which involves maintaining the KOBLI website, monitoring analytics, coordinating legal and informational content, and supporting digital outreach efforts. The officer will ensure that user feedback is effectively recorded and addressed in accordance with NRC standards. Collaboration with ICLA field teams, specialists, and support functions is essential to ensure that digital services are accessible, protection-sensitive, and user-friendly for both refugees and host communities. The role requires a proactive approach to managing digital platforms and engaging with various stakeholders to optimize service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities: The ICLA Technical Officer (KOBLI) will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: maintaining and regularly updating the KOBLI website and digital platforms with approved content; conducting routine checks to ensure platform functionality and user-friendliness; maintaining structured digital archives and version control of published materials; reporting technical issues to the line manager; monitoring and extracting data from Google Analytics and other digital analytics tools; compiling monthly digital performance summaries; tracking digital indicators such as user engagement and referral submissions; managing the KOBLI Facebook page in alignment with NRC communication standards; drafting digital posts for review; supporting paid digital advertising campaigns; coordinating the production of legal information content; maintaining digital referral tracking systems; liaising with ICLA field teams for content updates; participating in internal meetings; documenting lessons learned; promoting safe and inclusive digital communication practices; and ensuring compliance with NRC's Code of Conduct and PSEA standards.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in information technology, communications, digital media, computer science, or a related field. A good working knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and Meta Business Suite is essential. Experience in managing websites and social media platforms, including content updates through a Content Management System (CMS), is required. Familiarity with online data collection tools and maintaining structured tracking systems is also necessary. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in digital communications, data monitoring, or website management. Knowledge of humanitarian principles and protection-sensitive communication approaches is crucial, along with proficiency in preparing structured reports and maintaining organized digital documentation using Microsoft Office 36
