Job Overview:
The Area Office North - East (AONE) of the Norwegian Refugee Council is set to become operational in the first half of 2026, transitioning from the current Kharkiv Field Office. The Area Programme Manager will play a crucial role in this scale-up, overseeing the implementation of programs in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. The key sectors of intervention for AONE will include Shelter, Information Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA), Protection from Violence, Education, and emergency response through cash assistance. The Driver position is essential for facilitating the movement of NRC staff, visitors, and materials, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Driver is responsible for transporting NRC staff, visitors, documents, and goods/materials to designated destinations as officially approved. The key duties include:

  • Reporting any accidents, breakdowns, or maintenance needs immediately.

  • Keeping the vehicle in proper operating condition, including cleanliness and fuel levels.
  • Coordinating with the line manager for necessary repairs and servicing.
  • Ensuring the vehicle is equipped with all required documents and equipment.
  • Providing logistical support during trainings and workshops. Specific responsibilities may include driving for the delivery and collection of mails, documents, and equipment, supporting program teams in humanitarian aid delivery, accepting flexible working hours based on mission requirements, and performing clerical support tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and have experience working as a Driver in a humanitarian or recovery context.
