Job Overview: The position of UNOPS LICA5 is designed to assist the Senior PSP Officer in developing and implementing fundraising strategies aimed at high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and major donors. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the UNOPS LICA5 position include:
Assisting in the development of fundraising proposals tailored to identified HNWIs and major donors, in alignment with the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy strategies.
Maintaining and strengthening partnerships with existing HNWIs and major donors by providing daily stewardship services, including updates and reports.
Enhancing the donor journey in collaboration with the Individual Giving team.
Liaising with global and regional PPH staff and field colleagues to provide necessary information to HNWIs and major donors.
Conducting preliminary due diligence screening research on potential major donors and processing due diligence clearance with the global PPH team.
Monitoring market trends related to PSP activities, particularly in the HNWI and major donor sector.
Drafting communication materials such as appeals, presentations, proposals, and reports for HNWIs and major donors, ensuring timely delivery after supervisor clearance.
Processing administrative actions required for major donor program management, including donation receipt issuance, income recording, and organizing meetings and events.
Performing any other related duties as required by the Senior PSP Officer.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the UNOPS LICA5 position include:
A high school diploma or a university degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Sociology, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or 1 year of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Strong ability to produce high-quality written materials tailored to specific audiences.
Excellent skills in preparing pitches, presentations, proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials targeting HNWIs and major donors.
Proven skills in writing, translation, communication, and presentation.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes the completion of a high school diploma or a university degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Sociology, or other related disciplines. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of fundraising and donor engagement.
