Job Overview: The position involves providing territorial consultancy aimed at strengthening the CAMAD strategy for comprehensive care of individuals in street situations in San José del Guaviare. Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Participating in the design and implementation of social strategies and programs aimed at supporting individuals in street situations.
Collaborating with local government entities, social organizations, and community actors to develop and execute community actions.
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of vulnerable populations and designing tailored interventions.
Facilitating workshops and training sessions for community members and stakeholders to raise awareness about social inclusion and support services.
Monitoring and evaluating the impact of implemented strategies, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Preparing reports and documentation related to project activities and outcomes.
Engaging with local communities to foster trust and encourage participation in social initiatives.
Ensuring compliance with UNDP policies and procedures throughout the consultancy period.
Required Qualifications: The position requires specific qualifications, including:
For technicians or technologists: A minimum of 24 months (2 years) of experience in social, community, health, or inclusion programs.
For professionals: A minimum of 12 months (1 year) of experience in similar fields.
Proven experience in working with vulnerable populations, particularly those in street situations.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and facilitate community participation.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a technical, technological, or professional degree in any field of knowledge. This educational background is essential to ensure that the consultant has the necessary theoretical foundation to understand and address the complexities of social issues faced by vulnerable populations.
Experience: The level of experience required for this position varies based on the educational background of the candidate.
