Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen the Community Health Delivery Partnership as a global platform for community health with robust linkages to other technical and advocacy networks.
  • Enhance and sustain country engagement to give visibility to country priorities and progress in institutionalizing community health.
  • Ensure accessibility of country-specific community health data for strategic decision-making at global, regional, and country levels.
  • Monitor and evaluate the functionality of the CHDP to inform its long-term vision and sustainability.
  • Accomplish other assigned duties and responsibilities effectively, contributing to the overall success of the CHDP.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include a Master's degree or equivalent in Health Administration, Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, Global Health, or related fields. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of professional work experience in community/primary health care, health planning, programming, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of health programs relevant to child survival and development. Strong advocacy and communication skills are essential, along with experience in partnership coordination and technical advisory roles.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in relevant fields such as Health Administration, Public Health, Epidemiology, Social Science, Global Health, or related disciplines. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of health systems and community health programming.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of professional work experience at national and/or international levels in community/primary health care, health planning, programming, and evaluation of health programs. Experience in managerial or technical expert positions in community health programming is highly desirable, particularly in development and humanitarian contexts.

Languages:
Fluent English is required for this position. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) or a local language is considered a desirable asset, enhancing communication and collaboration in diverse settings.
