Job Overview: The Senior Practitioner position at Ohana Academy in Logan is a full-time role aimed at creating a holistic educational and wellbeing program for young people involved with the youth justice system. The successful candidate will lead a team of specialists to implement a wraparound support system that includes educational and wellbeing services. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Practitioner include:
Maintaining a caseload of families and caregivers of young people who have been in contact with the youth justice system, providing support and coaching to enhance family capacity.
Utilizing partnership and outcomes-based approaches to drive program planning and implementation, including mentoring Youth Specialists.
Developing and maintaining relationships with operational stakeholders that are critical to the program's success.
Coordinating staff caseloads and program logistics, ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation of program outcomes.
Managing risk and ensuring child protection measures are in place.
Collaborating with other team members to create a supportive environment for young people and their families.
