Job Overview:
The Education Coordinator (EC) will play a pivotal role in leading the capacity-sharing activities of the organization with local partners and community-based organizations that are led by refugees and migrants. This position is designed to support the Capacity Sharing Programme Development Manager in ensuring that the educational approaches and strategies of partners align with national and international education policies. The EC will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support, developing appropriate tools and resources tailored to the needs of partners, and ensuring the effective implementation of capacity-sharing development plans. Additionally, the EC will conduct quality assurance monitoring and evaluation to ensure that educational initiatives are being applied correctly. The role will also involve delivering training, contextualizing educational resources, and supporting initiatives aimed at providing durable solutions in the education sector. Furthermore, the EC will be tasked with translating programmatic materials between Arabic and English as needed, ensuring effective communication and understanding among stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The EC will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including: managing education project field staff and partners, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and strategies, contributing to the development of education strategies and project proposals, managing a delegated portfolio of education projects, providing regular progress reports, ensuring that projects target the most vulnerable beneficiaries, promoting ideas for improvement, facilitating capacity-sharing among partner staff, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders, and advocating for the rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees. Specific responsibilities include developing pedagogical approaches and teaching materials, supporting youth-led organizations, designing quality assurance systems for curriculum and instruction, ensuring gender and protection mainstreaming, supporting education research activities, and assisting in donor reporting and proposal development.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the education sector, particularly within humanitarian contexts. They should have technical knowledge specific to the humanitarian sector, experience working in complex and volatile environments, and documented competencies related to the responsibilities of the position. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate fluency in English, both written and verbal, and have a proven ability to analyze and synthesize information effectively.

Educational Background:
The position requires a strong educational background relevant to the field of education and humanitarian work. While specific degrees are not mentioned, candidates are expected to have qualifications that support their expertise in education programming and capacity building.

Experience:
