Job Overview:
The Principal Banker position is a senior role within the EBRD that encompasses a wide range of responsibilities related to project development and implementation. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Structuring and Execution: Collaborate with senior project team members on complex transactions, lead the origination of new supply chain finance opportunities, and manage project teams effectively.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring of projects, ensuring compliance with Bank standards, and manage client relationships while resolving implementation issues.
• Policy Dialogue: Contribute to policy discussions and support efforts to procure grants and technical cooperation funds.
• Business Development: Assist in marketing efforts, screen project proposals, and analyze supply chain finance requirements of partner institutions.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and mentor junior bankers, ensuring quality project work and appropriate workload distribution.
• Uphold the Bank's values and behavioral competencies, ensuring high standards of integrity and ethical conduct.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Principal Banker position must possess a Bachelor’s degree, with a Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in relevant fields. Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA are desirable. Strong quantitative and numerical skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret financial information and design financial models. Candidates should have credit analysis skills, computer literacy, and excellent stakeholder management abilities. Leadership, coaching, and negotiation skills are also critical, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of the local language is advantageous.
