The volunteer will be responsible for creating a visually appealing presentation that effectively communicates the health data and achievements of WHO Sierra Leone. The role requires a blend of graphic design skills and an understanding of how to present complex information in an engaging manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Edit and finalize the content of the WHO Sierra Leone annual report, ensuring clarity and coherence.
  • Design a visually appealing presentation that adheres to graphic design principles.
  • Create slides that effectively incorporate text, images, videos, and data tables.
  • Develop interactive elements such as clickable tabs and hyperlinks to enhance user engagement.
  • Utilize advanced graphic design skills to create custom visuals, infographics, and tables that simplify complex information.
  • Collaborate with WHO staff to gather necessary data and insights for the report.
  • Ensure that the final report aligns with WHO branding and communication standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in creating presentations and reports.
  • Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar tools.
  • Excellent editing and writing skills to ensure the report's content is clear and professional.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Educational Background:

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in graphic design or a related field. Experience in designing reports or presentations for health organizations or NGOs is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly local languages spoken in Sierra Leone, is a plus.
