Job Overview:
The role of the English Language Adviser at VSO is designed for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to make a significant impact in the Uzbekistan education system. Duties and Responsibilities:
As an English Language Adviser, your duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Coaching local English language educators to enhance their teaching skills and methodologies.
  • Teaching English to secondary school students, focusing on improving their language proficiency.
  • Collaborating with local teachers to develop and deliver engaging curriculum lessons.
  • Leading professional development workshops for educators to share best practices in English language teaching.
  • Running practical coaching sessions to support teachers in implementing effective teaching strategies.
  • Assisting in the adoption of student-centered teaching methodologies in classrooms.
  • Supporting the integration of international best practices in English language education.
  • Engaging with the local community to promote the importance of English language learning.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for the position of English Language Adviser, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
  • A degree in education or a related field.
  • Practical experience in English teaching within a school setting.
  • Preferably, possession of a TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or DELTA certification; however, candidates without these certifications but with equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a passion for mentoring and supporting other teachers.
  • Ability to thrive in cross-cultural environments, demonstrating flexibility, patience, and respect for diverse settings.

Educational Background:
