Job Overview:
The Cleaner position at DRC is crucial for maintaining a hygienic and welcoming environment within the office and guest house premises. The Cleaner will report directly to the HR and Administration Team leader and will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are kept clean and orderly. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks, including wet and dry cleaning of offices and common areas, disinfection of surfaces, and maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen appliances and utensils. The Cleaner will also monitor the availability of office supplies related to cleaning and ensure that trash is collected and disposed of properly. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cleaner will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: Wet cleaning of offices and common areas such as corridors, kitchens, restrooms, and conference rooms as needed. Dry cleaning and disinfection of surfaces in common areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Polishing surfaces and furniture to maintain a neat appearance. Ensuring the cleanliness of glass, mirror, and ceramic surfaces throughout the premises. Washing kitchen appliances and utensils, including coffee makers, kettles, refrigerators, and dishes as required. Monitoring the availability of cleaning supplies, such as liquid soap and detergents, and reporting shortages. Collecting trash and replacing trash bags regularly. Conducting seasonal window cleaning twice a year or as needed. Performing general cleaning tasks as required, including dusting switches, baseboards, and hardware. Caring for plants in the office to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the workspace. Wet cleaning of apartments, which includes washing floors, polishing surfaces, and ensuring the cleanliness of sanitary ware. Creating an atmosphere of cleanliness and friendliness within the office environment.
