Job Overview: This position involves providing consultancy services in data visualization (Business Intelligence - BI) and user experience (UX). The consultant will be expected to deliver high-quality visual data representations and enhance user interaction with digital tools. The role requires a deep understanding of BI tools and UX methodologies to create effective dashboards and reports that facilitate decision-making processes. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate complex data into accessible visual formats. The assignment is set for a duration of 4 months, during which the consultant will be expected to demonstrate expertise in both BI and UX fields, ensuring that the solutions provided are user-centered and data-driven.
Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be responsible for the following duties:
Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Apply user-centered design methodologies (UX/UI) to create intuitive digital tools and information systems.
Participate in knowledge management projects that require translating complex databases into simplified visual products.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback to refine visualizations and user interfaces.
Conduct user testing and gather insights to improve the usability of the developed solutions.
Provide training and support to users on how to effectively utilize the BI tools and visualizations created.
Document processes and methodologies used in the project for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a professional degree in graphic design, industrial design, systems engineering, industrial engineering, advertising, visual arts, social communication, statistics, or economics. Additionally, a postgraduate degree in UX design, data visualization, data analytics, or business intelligence is required. Alternatively, candidates may present certifications in complementary training (diplomas, international certifications, or bootcamps) in BI tools, UX/UI, or data storytelling, totaling at least 120 hours of training.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a professional degree in one of the specified fields such as graphic design, industrial design, systems engineering, industrial engineering, advertising, visual arts, social communication, statistics, or economics. Furthermore, a postgraduate specialization or master's degree in UX design, data visualization, data analytics, or business intelligence is essential. Candidates with relevant certifications in these areas will also be considered, provided they meet the training hour requirements.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience is required in activities related to user interface design or the development of information visualization solutions for decision-making. This experience should demonstrate work in one or more of the following areas:
Designing and developing dashboards and interactive reports using BI tools.
Applying user-centered design methodologies for digital tools or information systems.
Participating in knowledge management projects that involve translating complex databases into simplified visual products.
Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory for this position, as all communications and deliverables will be in Spanish. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.
Additional Notes: The contract duration for this consultancy is 4 months.
