Job Overview:
The position of Oficial de Finanzas is crucial for supporting the financial operations within the organization. The primary responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of proposals, monitoring and reporting on signed agreements, and providing technical guidance to team leaders on all accounting, tax, budgeting, reporting, and partner management processes. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Oficial de Finanzas will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: ensuring adherence to NRC policies, tools, manuals, and guidelines; supporting the implementation of the support function portfolio according to the action plan; preparing and developing status reports required by management; ensuring proper filing of documents; promoting and sharing ideas to strengthen support functions; maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial, administrative, tax, and internal control regulations; assisting in the preparation and monitoring of the overall budget; providing technical input for proposal consolidation and official financial reporting; developing, monitoring, reviewing, and adjusting project budgets in coordination with program teams; systematizing financial process information in the Uni4 system; proposing financial training topics for capacity building; and interacting with field teams to monitor administrative and financial processes, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or related fields. A minimum of three years of experience in similar roles within humanitarian contexts is required. Candidates should have experience working in complex and volatile environments, as well as a basic understanding of the English language. Additional qualifications include a diploma, specialization, or master's degree in relevant areas, knowledge of accounting software, familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards, experience in budget management, project monitoring and evaluation, and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities are essential for this role.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the Oficial de Finanzas position includes a university degree in fields such as Accounting, Finance, Administration, or other related areas.
