The incumbent will consolidate data and facilitate the preparation of periodic reports, including situation reports (Sitreps), fact sheets, and other activity-specific reports. They will also be responsible for preparing interviews for local media and background briefings for international media. Regular updates to relevant information tracking systems and adherence to electronic filing requirements are essential. The role includes providing administrative support for routine services and activities within the unit, accompanying visits from foreign delegations and media to refugee sites, and offering appropriate briefings and interpreting support. The Senior Reporting Assistant will work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate data presentation, prepare and distribute meeting minutes promptly, consolidate inputs for donor reports, and support risk management efforts. Additionally, the incumbent will perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or 1 year of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Essential qualifications include strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office with advanced Excel capabilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
