Job Overview:
The Senior Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Associate position at UNICEF involves performing specialized activities related to the organization's ICT systems. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service support for ICT office operations, ensuring that users receive timely assistance and solutions to their technical issues.
• Manage ICT administration tasks, including maintaining hardware and software inventories, overseeing system updates, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect digital assets, including data encryption, access controls, and regular security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security audits.
• Participate in strategic planning for ICT initiatives, contributing to the development of long-term goals and objectives for technology use within the organization.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and propose solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

• Conduct regular assessments of ICT systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the ICT field to ensure that UNICEF's systems remain current and effective.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of seven years of practical work experience in information technology, demonstrating systematic troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and expertise in business process automation. Familiarity with emergency response operations and field experience is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.

Educational Background:
A minimum of secondary education is required for this position. However, completion of professional and/or university courses related to information technology or a relevant field is highly desirable, as it enhances the candidate's qualifications and ability to perform effectively in the role.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least seven years of relevant experience in the information technology sector. This experience should encompass a range of skills, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, and business process automation, with a focus on practical applications in various settings, including emergency situations.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of another official UN language or the local language of the duty station may be required, which would enhance communication and collaboration with local stakeholders and communities.
