Job Overview:
The Audit / Compliance Supervisor position is crucial for ensuring that Solidarités International adheres to its internal procedures and best practices. This role, under the supervision of the C&R Manager, involves supporting the department in internal and external audits, as well as investigations. The supervisor will play a key role in disseminating internal procedures and tools, contributing to the success of external financial audits, and assisting in internal audit reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and donor regulations. The position also entails reviewing internal controls, performing spot checks, and supporting follow-ups on prior audit recommendations. Additionally, the Audit / Compliance Supervisor will assist in investigations related to field offices outside their base and contribute to capacity building for SI teams, particularly in fraud prevention and strengthening internal controls.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Audit / Compliance Supervisor include supporting the Conformity Manager in implementing recommendations from audits and investigations, updating the audit observations follow-up tracker, performing systematic compliance reviews of selected projects, and informing management of any suspicions of fraud or breaches of procedures. The supervisor will also collaborate with the base team to prepare documents for external audits, conduct pre-audits of expenses documentation, and participate in external audit meetings. Furthermore, the role involves disseminating good practices, assisting in investigations, and ensuring compliance with donor regulations. Required Qualifications:

Technical skills such as Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) and Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) are preferred.
