Job Overview: The Audit / Compliance Supervisor position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and compliance of Solidarités International's operations. Reporting to the C&R Manager, the supervisor will be involved in internal and external audits, as well as investigations. This role is pivotal in disseminating internal procedures and best practices across the mission. The supervisor will contribute to the success of external financial audits and assist in conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to internal policies and donor regulations. The position also entails reviewing internal controls, performing spot checks, and following up on previous audit recommendations. Additionally, the supervisor will assist in investigations related to field offices and contribute to capacity building for SI teams, particularly in fraud prevention and strengthening internal controls.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Audit / Compliance Supervisor will have a range of responsibilities, including:
Supporting the Conformity Manager in implementing recommendations from audits and investigations.
Updating the audit observations follow-up tracker.
Conducting systematic compliance reviews of selected projects and activities completed by implementing partners.
Informing management of any suspicions of fraud or breaches of procedures.
Collaborating with the base team to prepare documentation for external audits and conducting pre-audits of expenses documentation.
Participating in external audit meetings and ensuring that audit reports are received and archived.
Disseminating good practices related to project management and compliance with donor regulations.
Assisting in investigations by collecting evidence, conducting interviews, and maintaining confidentiality.
Performing additional tasks as requested by the Conformity Manager.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the humanitarian sector is preferred, with 2-5 years of experience in a similar position being required. Technical skills such as Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) or Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) are preferred. Candidates should also demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and beneficiaries, and the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Educational Background: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. This educational background is essential for understanding the financial and operational aspects of the role, as well as for conducting audits and compliance reviews effectively.

Additional Notes: The position is salaried, with a gross monthly salary of 1230 USD, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. The desired start date for this role is March 15, 2026, and the duration of the mission is until April 31, 2026, subject to renewal or extension.
