The intern will also be responsible for building networks and databases to identify potential opportunities for collaboration and innovation, particularly in relation to the needs of Developing Member Countries (DMCs). The role requires conducting research on emerging technologies and innovative practices that are relevant to ADB's operations, analyzing data to identify trends, and synthesizing insights to inform knowledge sharing and management activities. The intern will assist in creating knowledge products such as reports and policy briefs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to capacity-building initiatives through workshops and training sessions. Additionally, the intern will support the preparation and execution of innovation-focused events and pilot projects that explore the use of advanced technologies in development projects.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including:
Conducting research on emerging technologies and innovative practices relevant to ADB's operations.
Synthesizing and sharing insights from various sources to inform knowledge sharing and management activities.
Assisting in the development of knowledge products, including reports, policy briefs, and case studies.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and sector experts to integrate innovation into ADB projects and programs.
Contributing to capacity-building initiatives by supporting workshops or training sessions on innovation and technology adoption for ADB staff and DMC stakeholders.
Assisting in the preparation and execution of innovation-focused events, such as forums or conferences.
Supporting pilot projects that explore the use of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence or smart systems in development projects.
Providing administrative and logistical support for ongoing innovation initiatives within ADB. 1
