Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will undertake a variety of tasks including: conducting targeted research on AI's impact on education systems; performing gap and needs assessments for secondary education programs in the Philippines, Uzbekistan, India, and potentially other countries; providing analytical inputs for studies on AI in education; coordinating a webinar with stakeholders such as international organizations and EdTech providers; supporting the preparation of policy briefs on AI in education; organizing leadership clinics or similar events focused on AI in education; and assisting in the piloting of AI solutions aimed at improving educational quality.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be currently enrolled in a master's degree or PhD program in fields such as Education, ICT, Economics, or Public Policy. They should possess strong analytical and research skills, particularly in the context of EdTech and AI in education. Familiarity with education systems in the Asia-Pacific region is essential, along with a basic understanding of EdTech and AI best practices.
