Job Overview:
The Information Systems Officer position is situated within the Information and Communications Technology Services Section (ICTSS) of the Publications, Conference and Knowledge Management Division (PCKMD) at the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The role involves overseeing compliance audits and monitoring activities related to ICT projects, ensuring adherence to established standards and regulatory requirements. Successful completion of degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics, or data science is considered an advantage.

Experience:
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in coordinating projects is required for this position. Experience in resource mobilization, proposal writing, or partnership development with international donors, foundations, or private sector partners is desirable. Additionally, having two or more years of experience in data analytics or a related area is beneficial.

Languages:
English is the required working language for this position, while French is considered desirable. Candidates should refer to the UN Language Framework for the minimum required level of proficiency in these languages.
