Job Overview: The Senior Information Systems Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the UN's digital initiatives, particularly in the development and maintenance of SharePoint Online and O365 platform-based systems. Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Information Systems Assistant will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including:
Providing support for SharePoint Online and O365 platform-based systems and applications, including complex troubleshooting.
Participating in the development, programming, testing, debugging, and implementation of new SharePoint Online systems releases and functionalities.
Designing and developing solutions on SharePoint Online, O365, Power platforms, and Azure Services.
Managing and maintaining technical documentation for web application systems and products.
Assisting in the development of support and operations procedures for web applications systems.
Leading projects related to SharePoint Online and O365 applications, including liaising with users to define requirements.
Conducting feasibility studies and systems analysis for web application systems improvements.
Assisting in identifying user needs and designing workflow systems.

Drafting correspondence and communications related to work plans and periodic reports. 1
Keeping abreast of developments in the field and proposing new technologies. 1

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a first-level university degree being acceptable in lieu of two years of required experience. A university degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field is desirable. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in information systems analysis, software development, and maintenance. Additionally, candidates must have at least 10 years of hands-on development experience with SharePoint and SharePoint Online, along with specific experience in Azure DevOps, Case Management, Knowledge Management solutions, Microsoft Graph API, ShareGate, Plumsails forms, and Machine Learning.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a high school diploma or equivalent. A first-level university degree may be accepted in lieu of two years of required experience. A university degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field is highly desirable, as it aligns with the technical demands of the role and enhances the candidate's ability to perform effectively in the position.
