Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position within the Information, Resilience, and Services (CSFIR) division of the IMF's Corporate Services and Facilities Department is designed for highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals. The intern will assist in various functions related to change management, communications, and data management. This role is pivotal in supporting the division's initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational resilience and operational efficiency. Interns will gain hands-on experience in strategic communications and data governance, contributing to projects that are essential for the smooth functioning of the IMF. The position offers an opportunity to develop a strong mix of analytical, operational, and communication skills, all within a dynamic and service-oriented environment that underpins key Fund operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern's major duties and responsibilities include:
  • Change Management: Contributing to stakeholder analyses, impact assessments, and readiness tracking for CSFIR projects; synthesizing findings into actionable briefs; drafting and maintaining change plans for pilot and broader rollouts; preparing training materials and coordinating logistics; participating in the development of change management strategies for service provider transitions.
  • Communications & Engagement: Supporting the quarterly communications calendar by collecting inputs, drafting content, and routing it to relevant stakeholders; developing audience-specific messages for CSFIR activities; setting up feedback loops and translating insights into recommendations.
  • Data Management: Assisting with the inventory and documentation of data governance artifacts; validating data entries for completeness; creating or updating dataset records; supporting process documentation for data platforms and usability checks tied to ongoing transitions. Deliverables include creating stakeholder briefs, developing change plans, and updating key data sources.

Required Qualifications:
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be enrolled in a Master's degree program in a relevant field such as information technology, data science, business administration, or a related area. Candidates must maintain student status during the internship and be in good academic standing. An excellent command of English, both written and oral, is essential, along with an interest in working in a multicultural environment.
