Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for the UNOPS LICA7 position include but are not limited to:
Conducting thorough assessments of the operational environment to identify risks and challenges associated with refugee settings.
Developing and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
Ensuring quality assurance processes are in place and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborating with UNHCR and other stakeholders to align project objectives with broader humanitarian and development goals.
Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to relevant parties.
Facilitating training and capacity-building initiatives for local partners and stakeholders.
Preparing detailed reports and documentation related to project activities and outcomes.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong understanding of the UNHCR operational environment in Cameroon, particularly regarding refugee settings. Additionally, experience in project risk management and quality assurance is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are also required to effectively convey project objectives and outcomes.
Educational Background: A relevant educational background is essential for this position.
