Job Overview: The Assistant Information Systems Officer (Web Developer) will play a crucial role in the migration of DMFAS software to new technology standards, specifically utilizing the latest Java EE architecture model. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Information Systems Officer include: assisting in the migration of DMFAS software to new technology standards; collaborating with the development and functional design teams; participating in needs analysis and technical solution design; developing and maintaining the DMFAS web application system; designing reusable UI components; developing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and MyBatis; creating interfaces for microservices; writing unit and integration tests; assisting in the publication of required modules; preparing deferrals and informing the DMFAS Systems Analyst of progress; developing program documentation; participating in peer reviews; and performing other related activities as required.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of organizational information infrastructure, including hardware, software, and application systems. Proficiency in relevant programming languages and the ability to develop information systems are essential. Knowledge of API design and documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI for RESTful services is required. The ability to design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and MyBatis is crucial, along with experience in creating interfaces for microservices with resilience patterns. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, effective communication skills, teamwork, and technological awareness.
Educational Background: A first-level university degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or a related field is required for this position. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for the technical aspects of the role, including programming and systems analysis.
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in information systems analysis and programming, systems administration and maintenance, software development, or technical writing is required. Relevant experience using web technology, particularly with the Angular development framework and related libraries, is essential.
