Established to promote ecosystem restoration, the initiative is supported by a Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) that catalyzes local restoration activities and highlights global best practices. The SIDS Coalition for Nature, which launched the SIDS Ecosystem Restoration Flagship in 2022, is co-led by the Governments of St Lucia, Vanuatu, and Comoros, with technical support from UNDESA, UNEP, and FAO.
