Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the SPA-Finance expert for protected areas include:
  • Conducting comprehensive financial assessments of protected areas to identify funding needs and opportunities.
  • Developing financial management frameworks and strategies to enhance the sustainability of protected areas.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement innovative financing mechanisms, such as payment for ecosystem services, conservation trust funds, and public-private partnerships.

Required Qualifications:
