Job Overview:
The Data and Compliance Supervisor is a pivotal role within the organization, tasked with ensuring the integrity and compliance of data across all programs. This position is designed for a professional who can blend leadership with technical expertise in data management and compliance. The Supervisor will oversee a team responsible for data collection, reporting, and compliance with grant requirements, ensuring that all services provided meet the standards set by the organization, funders, and regulatory bodies. This role is crucial for maintaining high-quality data practices and compliance protocols, which are essential for effective program delivery and organizational accountability. The Supervisor will work closely with program leadership and HQ teams, contributing to continuous quality improvement and organizational learning, and will report directly to the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director of Resettlement Programs. This is a full-time, non-exempt position requiring 37.5 hours of work per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Data and Compliance Supervisor will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities that include:
  • Supervision & Team Leadership: Overseeing the Data and Compliance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Ensuring that staff understand their roles and responsibilities related to compliance and data management. Promoting professional development and cross-training within the team.
  • Compliance & Grant Management: Leading the processes for grant openings, mid-cycle reviews, and close-outs in collaboration with various teams. Ensuring compliance with contracts, grants, and budgetary requirements. Maintaining organized documentation for funded programs and supporting award modifications.
  • Data Management & Quality Assurance: Overseeing the collection and maintenance of accurate client and program data. Designing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity. Analyzing data to generate reports on program performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial & Administrative Oversight: Monitoring client and program budgets to ensure compliance with guidelines. Collaborating with finance teams on financial tracking and reporting.
  • Collaboration & Capacity Building: Working with program leadership to align service delivery with compliance and reporting requirements. Providing training and technical assistance to staff on compliance standards and data systems.
  • Other Responsibilities: Upholding ethical standards, staying current on compliance regulations, and performing additional duties as assigned to support program effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public administration, data management, or a related field. Advanced training or certification in compliance, monitoring & evaluation, data analysis, or project management is preferred. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data management tools are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment are also required.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, with advanced training or certifications in areas such as compliance, monitoring & evaluation, or data management being highly desirable. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of data management and compliance in a programmatic context.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in compliance, data management, program evaluation, or grant administration. At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred. Candidates should have demonstrated experience with grant reporting, audits, and quality assurance processes, showcasing their ability to manage compliance effectively.

Languages:
