Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will perform a variety of functions as specified in the Terms of Reference (TOR) prepared by the hiring office. These tasks may include conducting research, assisting in project implementation, supporting data collection and analysis, contributing to reports and presentations, and participating in meetings and discussions. Interns are expected to engage actively with their teams, share insights, and contribute to the overall objectives of the organization. The specific responsibilities will depend on the intern's profile and the needs of the FAO at the time of their assignment.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be enrolled in or have recently graduated from a recognized undergraduate or graduate degree program. FAO only considers qualifications from institutions accredited by the World Higher Education Database (WHED). Candidates should specialize in a field relevant to FAO's mission and work. Additionally, candidates must have a working knowledge of at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish), with knowledge of a second language being an asset.
