Job Overview: The Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in the Mass Market team, which is dedicated to inspiring the UK public to financially support the IRC's humanitarian initiatives. This position is primarily focused on developing and leading the Acquisition strategy and program, with the goal of generating sustainable growth and maximizing net unrestricted revenue. The successful candidate will oversee a team of two and will be responsible for significantly expanding the supporter base while meeting income targets through the optimization of multi-channel cash and regular giving programs. Additionally, the role involves responding to emergency appeals and ensuring that the IRC's fundraising efforts are timely and effective. Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of the UK Acquisition strategy and operational plan in consultation with the Director of Mass Markets, UK.
Maintaining and developing a monitoring and reporting framework for acquisition activities and associated KPIs to assess the performance of the acquisition strategy.
Overseeing donor acquisition and revenue activities across various channels, including cash, regular giving, lead generation, lottery, and mid-level portfolios.
Delivering emergency appeals as both IRC and a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee, ensuring rapid response and maximizing net revenue.
Continuously assessing and improving core business operations while diversifying channel and product offerings to reach new audience segments.
Managing a substantial income and expenditure budget, ensuring all activities align with strategic objectives.
Leading and developing the Acquisition team, setting performance objectives, and identifying opportunities for professional growth.
Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to enhance fundraising efforts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Keeping abreast of sector developments and best practices in individual giving and digital fundraising to maintain IRC's leadership in the field.
