Job Overview:
The Associate Information Management Officer plays a crucial role in supporting data and information management activities within UNHCR's operational contexts.   • The officer will work under the supervision of senior management, contributing to the coordination of data management efforts across various offices. The role involves collaborating with a team of data management staff to ensure that data collection, analysis, and dissemination are conducted effectively and in accordance with established standards. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties of the Associate Information Management Officer include coordinating data and information management activities, participating in data management teams, and contributing to the design and implementation of data strategies. The officer will support the collection, storage, and protection of data, ensuring its integrity and reliability. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of national and international statistical systems, international protection, and experience in field data collection and analysis. Functional skills required for this position include data collection methodologies, database design and development, statistical analysis, and knowledge of GIS and geospatial systems.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a degree in fields such as Social Science, Statistics, Information Management, Physical Science, Economics, Data Science, Geography, GIS, Engineering, Demography, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
