Duties and Responsibilities: The duties of the Monitor de Gobernanza include supporting the municipal monitor of SESAN in awareness-raising processes about food security among municipal and community groups, attending COMUDE and COMUSAN sessions, and providing updated information on proposals and community processes related to food security. The Monitor will also assist in coordinating with social promoters to integrate food security projects into municipal development budgets and ensure that these projects reflect community priorities. Additionally, the role involves documenting community and municipal processes through reports and photographs, preparing progress reports, and coordinating with interdepartmental project facilitators to ensure coherence and complementarity among intervention municipalities. The Monitor will be responsible for delivering various expected products, including operational plans, activity reports, and community life plans, with specific deadlines for each deliverable.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in nutrition, social work, social sciences, or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in community work, local development, food security, or participatory planning is required. Knowledge of the functioning of SINASAN and/or SISCODE is mandatory, along with an understanding of rights-based approaches, interculturality, and gender equity.
