Job Overview: The ESRIN Hard Services Manager position is a critical role within the Real Estate and Facilities Management (REFM) Department at ESA's ESRIN site in Frascati, Italy. These include managing contractual relationships with hard facilities management service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), and overseeing the operational management of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. The manager will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, oversee technical projects related to infrastructure upgrades, and manage energy and mobility projects. Additionally, the role involves planning and managing capital projects, developing project scopes and budgets, leading procurement processes, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Stakeholder coordination is also a key responsibility, requiring collaboration with internal customers and providing technical advice to ensure alignment with operational needs.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a master's degree in engineering, facilities management, construction management, or a related discipline. Additionally, a minimum of five years of experience in hard facilities management services and capital project management is required, preferably within an outsourcing model.
