Job Overview:
The Social Viral Video Producer role is designed for a passionate individual who is committed to gender equality and women's representation through impactful storytelling. The primary function of this position is to create short-form video content that educates and empowers audiences while driving positive behavioral change. The ideal candidate will be adept at producing content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X, transforming real stories and advocacy messages into engaging and shareable video content. This role is crucial in shaping public perception and engagement around issues of gender equality, inclusion, and social justice, ultimately raising UN Women's visibility and inspiring action among audiences worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Social Viral Video Producer include proposing and producing video content that aligns with messaging around gender equality and women's empowerment. The producer will script, shoot, and edit impactful short-form content that resonates emotionally with viewers. They will also be responsible for turning complex advocacy topics into simple narratives suitable for social media platforms. Additionally, the producer will need to stay informed about relevant advocacy moments and trends, analyze audience behavior, and collaborate with various teams to ensure content aligns with organizational values. Other responsibilities include optimizing impact through media analytics, adapting messaging for different demographics, and coordinating content creation around significant cultural moments and UN events.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong passion for gender equality and human rights, with sensitivity to ethical communication and representation. Educational Background:

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience creating social-first video content, particularly on platforms like TikTok. Experience in producing influence-style content, community-driven content production, or live social events is also necessary. Familiarity with women's rights, gender equality, and intersectional advocacy is highly desirable, as is experience collaborating with community organizations or activists.

Languages:
