Job Overview:
The CBI Associate position is crucial for supporting UNHCR's cash assistance programs in Jordan, which are among the largest globally. The role involves processing and monitoring cash payments through various management systems, including Cash Assist, and collaborating with financial service providers. The CBI Associate will prepare payment instructions, review transaction reports, and conduct reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely cash assistance delivery. Additionally, the position requires analyzing refugee and household data to inform eligibility and targeting decisions for cash assistance. The incumbent will work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance the program's efficiency and accountability, ensuring compliance with UNHCR's data protection standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The CBI Associate will manage the use and maintenance of databases related to cash-based interventions, generate statistical reports, and prepare beneficiary lists for cash assistance. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of the UNHCR Regular CBI database, conducting monthly reconciliations, and preparing detailed reports on cash assistance provided. The associate will ensure that beneficiary databases are accurate and up-to-date, maintain relationships with partners for effective information flow, and assist in training staff and partners on database usage. The role also involves troubleshooting database issues, coordinating with partners on beneficiary lists, and representing UNHCR in cash assistance meetings. Field visits to monitor cash projects and risk management are also part of the duties.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have relevant experience in data management, preferably in a cash-based intervention context. Essential qualifications include excellent knowledge of computer software and database applications, particularly Microsoft SQL Server. Desirable qualifications include familiarity with UNHCR programs, experience in cash-based interventions, and proficiency in programming languages such as C# and ASP.net, as well as statistical software like R, Python, or Stata. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a High School Diploma with three years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant work experience. While specific fields of education are not mandated, certifications in Information Technology, Database Management, or Computer Science are considered essential for this role.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of relevant experience for those with a High School Diploma, or two years for those with a Bachelor's degree or higher. Experience in data management, particularly in the context of cash-based interventions, is essential. Languages:
