Job Overview:
The Associate, Data Analytics (Supply) position is integral to the Delivering Innovation in Self-Care (DISC) project, which aims to enhance healthcare access and awareness of contraceptive self-care methods. This role involves supporting the analytics that drive DISC's supply dashboards and decision-making processes. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure reliable supply chains, enabling women to access their chosen contraceptive methods without interruption. The position requires the development of high-quality dashboards and information products that can be utilized by country teams and partners, thereby contributing to the overall success of the DISC initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate will be responsible for synthesizing data user requirements and documenting data analysis and reporting needs related to supply and demand planning. Key duties include identifying and mapping data sources, performing data quality tests, designing and improving interactive dashboards, and collaborating with the Supply & Demand Planning Advisor to refine analytical approaches. The role also involves supporting the harmonization of multi-country datasets, providing technical assistance to country project teams, and developing supply analytics and integrated insight reports. Additionally, the Associate will lead the creation of technical documentation related to supply analytics and dashboards, ensuring that all outputs align with evolving planning needs.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in computer science, information technology, statistics, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, although an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Strong data management, analytics, and visualization skills are essential, along with technical proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools like PowerBI, Superset, or Tableau is preferred, as is familiarity with health supply chain data.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or statistics is mandatory. Candidates with international equivalents of these degrees will also be considered. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in data management and analytics, which is crucial for the role.

Experience:
The position requires at least 3 years of related experience in data analytics, supply chain management, or a similar field. Candidates should have a proven track record of working with complex and inconsistent data sets, as well as experience in developing and maintaining data visualization tools. The ability to operate independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment is also essential.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required for this position. Candidates should be able to interpret data and communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not mandatory.

Additional Notes:
This position is hybrid, requiring the candidate to work on-site a minimum of 2 days per week. The role may involve 10-25% international travel.
