Job Overview:
The Manager, Corporate Digital Acceleration will play a pivotal role in the World Bank Group's efforts to digitally transform its corporate functions and processes. This position requires a blend of expertise in business architecture, process optimization, design thinking, and AI-driven capabilities. The successful candidate will guide the development of digitalization roadmaps that align with the strategic priorities of the WBG, ensuring that technology solutions are effectively integrated into business operations. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to foster innovation and drive the adoption of digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. The Manager will also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that is capable of executing on the ambitious digital transformation agenda of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
  • Leading the strategic direction for corporate product and technology solutions by creating comprehensive digitalization roadmaps.
  • Collaborating with business leaders to stimulate discussions on future business processes and drive strategic digital enablement.
  • Designing structured digitalization roadmaps that prioritize transformation initiatives and manage interdependencies across various value streams.
  • Utilizing design thinking and rapid prototyping to co-create innovative solutions for business challenges.
  • Reimagining corporate work processes through intelligent automation and AI enablement.
  • Implementing robust benefits-realization frameworks to quantify the value delivered from transformation initiatives.
  • Building and managing a globally distributed team, fostering a culture of innovation and resilience.
  • Contributing to strategic planning and cross-organizational transformation initiatives as a core member of the ITS management team.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and integrity, along with outstanding intellect and leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in computer science, business management, or related fields, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 15 years of experience. Certification in Agile methodologies is required, with a preference for SAFe Agilist or similar qualifications. Additional certifications in digital transformation, business architecture, or change management are desirable. The candidate should have a proven track record in leading enterprise-scale change and applying design thinking and agile methodologies to achieve measurable business results.

Educational Background:
A master’s degree in computer science, business management, or related disciplines is required, along with significant experience in digital strategy and transformation. Post-graduate coursework in relevant subjects is preferred, and candidates should have certifications in Agile methodologies and other industry-recognized qualifications.

Experience:
The position requires at least 10 years of leadership experience in management consulting, business process optimization, and digital transformation, particularly within large global enterprises. Candidates should have a strong background in corporate functions such as human resources, budget and planning, and employee engagement, with a proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive impactful change.

Languages:
