Job Overview: The ET Consultant-Junior Skills Assessment Administrator, Reporting position at the World Bank Group is integral to the organization's ongoing digital transformation efforts. This role is focused on supporting the skills assessment initiative, which aims to align business priorities with digital capabilities and workforce development. The successful candidate will be responsible for data administration, extraction, and basic analysis related to the IT skills assessment lifecycle. This includes maintaining clean datasets, supporting reporting efforts, and ensuring the accuracy and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security of assessment data. The position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage data and contribute to the overall success of the skills assessment initiative within the Client Services team.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the ET Consultant include:
Data Extraction & Preparation: Pulling data from assessment systems and preparing files for review, analysis, or dashboards; supporting the mapping of assessments to job roles, levels, and capability categories; and completing routine data cleansing to ensure accuracy.
Reporting Support: Building and updating simple dashboards, charts, and progress reports; preparing summaries for review by the Senior Administrator and HR Manager; and supporting trend analysis and identification of data gaps.
System & Vendor Coordination: Logging system issues and enhancement requests; assisting with user acceptance testing and validation when updates are released; and maintaining an inventory of system users, permissions, and access rights.
Documentation & Controls: Maintaining data dictionaries, naming conventions, and file-management standards; completing quality assurance checks; and supporting audit readiness.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a Master's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should possess strong data literacy, be comfortable with Excel and basic Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and have the ability to spot patterns, errors, and inconsistencies in data. A high attention to detail is essential, along with a methodical approach to information handling and clear communication skills to ensure effective task follow-through.
Educational Background: Candidates must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, which may include data science, information technology, human resources, or a related discipline. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in data analysis and management, as well as an understanding of the principles of human resources and organizational development.
Experience: The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in data administration, analysis, or a related field. Experience working with assessment systems, data reporting, and user acceptance testing is highly desirable. Familiarity with the operations of international organizations or financial institutions can be an added advantage.
Languages: The mandatory language for this position is English, as it is the primary language of communication within the World Bank Group. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered a plus, particularly if they are relevant to the regions in which the World Bank operates.
