Job Overview: The International UN Volunteer (IUNV) will play a crucial role in the UNICEF West and Central Africa Regional Office (WCARO) by assisting the Planning, Monitoring, Data and Research (PMDR) section. Duties and Responsibilities: The IUNV will be responsible for monitoring and tracking KPIs for WCARO and 24 Country Offices using corporate tools. This includes preparing presentations on KPI status for management, managing various trackers, and identifying performance issues. The IUNV will support the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for office performance management, assist Country Offices in updating performance indicators, and provide technical assistance to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reported information. Additionally, the IUNV will document lessons learned, facilitate experience sharing, and assist in organizing meetings related to UN reform initiatives. Regular updates on performance, corrective actions, and engagement in inter-agency work will also be part of the responsibilities.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Proficiency in using corporate performance management tools and experience in monitoring and evaluation are essential. The role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to various stakeholders. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in social sciences, international development, public administration, or a related field is required. Experience: Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in performance monitoring, evaluation, or related fields.
