Job Overview: The Data Analyst Officer position is integral to the ILO's efforts in implementing its PROSPECTS and Durable Solutions Programs, which focus on addressing the challenges of forced displacement and promoting socio-economic recovery in Syria and surrounding areas. Duties and Responsibilities: The Data Analyst Officer will be responsible for a comprehensive set of duties, including: reviewing and analyzing project development plans and socio-economic data; supporting the design and implementation of project activities; preparing terms of reference (ToRs) and work plans; monitoring project implementation agreements; consolidating progress reports; verifying and analyzing work plans and reports for clarity and completeness; maintaining and administering the project M&E database; conducting data quality control; preparing project documentation and reports; drafting monthly and bi-annual progress reports; contributing to the preparation of mid-term and final evaluations; identifying lessons learned and documenting good practices; coordinating with UN and other stakeholders; and performing any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a first-level university degree in economics, development studies, social sciences, management, or a relevant field.
