Job Overview:
The Digital Media Intern position at WWF is designed for a creative and detail-oriented individual who will support the Media & External Affairs (MXA) team in various capacities. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Digital Media Intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support core media relations functions. These include monitoring news and curating journalist lists, identifying new journalist contacts for earned media placements, and researching emerging media trends. The intern will also assist in writing press materials, including statements and blogs, and will develop and edit vertical video content for social media channels. Additionally, the intern will help produce WWF’s Nature Breaking podcast by editing audio and video files, curating social media clips for promotion, transcribing episodes, and assisting with guest bookings and editorial calendar support. Other duties may be assigned as needed, providing a comprehensive experience in digital media and communications.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong writing skills and proficiency in video editing and graphic design, particularly in creating short video clips for social media using platforms like Canva. Excellent research skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities are essential.
