Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will assist in preparing accurate statistical reports on agency assets and conduct statistical analysis of data. They will help prepare inventory information for new assets at the IAEA Headquarters, Laboratories, and Regional Offices, ensuring compliance with agency standards. Interns will also develop plans and conduct physical verification of fixed assets, which includes undertaking site visits for inspections and verification. They will draft reports based on the asset verification exercises and assist in testing the ORACLE-based property management system and RFID system used by the property management group. Additionally, interns will support the Building Services team with Heritage Asset compilation, updates to the IAEA Room book, and respond to building services requests. Other assignments may be given as required by the Unit Head or supervisor.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Information Studies, Real Estate, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. They should have experience in data and information analysis and reporting, along with a good command of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Candidates must be at least 20 years old and have completed a minimum of three years of full-time studies towards a first degree. They may apply up to one year after completing their degree and must not have previously participated in the IAEA's internship program.
Educational Background: The educational requirement for this internship includes a university degree in relevant fields such as Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Information Studies, Real Estate, Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or similar disciplines. Candidates should have completed at least three years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution, which demonstrates a solid foundation in their chosen field of study.
