Job Overview:
The Programme Officer (Cash) will work under the supervision and technical direction of the Programme Manager (Cash Unit), P4, based in Kinshasa, and in close collaboration with the Chief of the Goma Office. The officer will provide professional technical assistance and support for the design, planning, and implementation of the cash transfer program, manage and evaluate program/project activities, analyze data, and prepare progress reports to support the program's goals and objectives. The role requires effective knowledge management and systems, information exchange, and the development of training and orientation materials to enhance the management and activities of national programs. The officer will also be responsible for preparing program reports as needed, ensuring optimal use of program funds, and conducting effective monitoring and evaluations to improve program performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities include: effective knowledge management and systems; information exchange; development of training and orientation materials; preparation and updating of situational analyses; identification of critical program intervention points; preparation of work plans and program recommendations; timely preparation of program progress reports; ensuring optimal use of program funds; conducting effective monitoring and evaluations; integrating a rights-based and results-oriented programming approach into all phases of program and project processes; establishing and maintaining partnerships and collaborations for advocacy, technical cooperation, program management, information sharing, and networking; and integrating a rights perspective and advocacy at the community and family levels into policy analysis to strengthen UNICEF's credibility in national and international political debates.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a university degree in one of the following fields: social sciences, international relations, government, public administration, public policy, social policy, social development, community development, or another relevant technical field. A minimum of two years of professional experience in the field is required, with experience in a developing country considered an asset. Knowledge or experience in emergency situations is also an asset.

Languages:
