Job Overview:
The position of Chauffeur du Projet 2LERP involves participating in the transportation of goods and personnel related to the project. The chauffeur is expected to perform general warehousing tasks as needed and to carry out all responsibilities in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. The role requires following the supervisor's instructions for daily pickups and deliveries, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition, and maintaining a professional demeanor while driving. The chauffeur will also assist with loading and unloading packages, help passengers with their luggage, and plan the best routes to reach destinations. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of project logistics and requires a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The chauffeur is responsible for following the supervisor's instructions regarding daily deliveries and pickups. Key duties include checking the vehicle's tires, engines, and seatbelts to ensure they are functioning properly, maintaining optimal fluid levels, and cleaning the vehicle's interior daily. The chauffeur will assist in loading and unloading packages, help passengers board and carry their luggage, and mentally plan the best routes to destinations. Utilizing maps and GPS for route planning is essential. The chauffeur must maintain a professional attitude during trips, transport company professionals to and from desired locations, and ensure timely deliveries while being knowledgeable about destinations and contacts. Additional responsibilities include reporting customer complaints to the supervisor, returning the vehicle to the company on time, changing tires, performing minor repairs, and conducting general and preventive maintenance on the vehicle. The chauffeur is also expected to wash the vehicle as per specific instructions and ensure overall vehicle upkeep.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills. The position requires fluency in French and Swahili, with knowledge of English and other local languages considered an asset. The chauffeur must be available for on-call duties 24/7 and be willing to travel as needed, with travel requirements estimated at 25%.

Educational Background:
A secondary school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. An associate degree is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Experience:
At least one year of relevant experience is required for this position. Candidates should have experience in driving and vehicle maintenance, as well as familiarity with the local area and routes.

Languages:
Fluency in French and Swahili is mandatory. Knowledge of English and other local languages is advantageous and may enhance a candidate's application.

This position is full-time and may require the chauffeur to be on call at all times.
