Job Overview:
The HR Assistant position is crucial for the effective functioning of the FAO Country Office in the Philippines. The role involves performing a variety of routine administrative duties related to human resources, specifically in the hiring of affiliate workforce. The HR Assistant will report to the Assistant FAO Representative (Administration) and will work closely with the regional Human Resources Unit. Duties and Responsibilities:
The HR Assistant will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including: coordinating and managing the publication of calls for candidates for vacancies; organizing and facilitating the selection process; managing the complete cycle of contracts for national and international affiliate workforce in the Global Resource Management System (GRMS); providing administrative support related to the payment of fees to consultants; collaborating on actions to promote a respectful work environment; facilitating knowledge exchange and best practices; collecting and researching background information; updating staffing tables; drafting correspondence, reports, and statistics related to human resources functions; supporting the briefing of newly-hired Affiliate Workforce; maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information; and carrying out any other relevant duties as requested by the AFAOR for Administration.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements: a University Degree in Psychology, Business or Public Administration, or any related field; at least 5 years of experience in administrative and HR-related work; full proficiency or working knowledge (level C) of English; and must be a national of the Philippines or a legal resident with a valid work permit. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate FAO's core competencies, including results focus, teamwork, communication, building effective relationships, and knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a University Degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Business, or Public Administration.
