Job Overview: The UNV Multimedia, Content Creator Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Regional Communication Analyst, focusing on the creative development and production of multimedia content. This role involves conceptualizing, designing, and producing visually compelling content tailored for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Instagram. The assistant will be responsible for video editing, ensuring logical sequencing and visual consistency, and developing storyboards that align with overarching campaign goals. The position also emphasizes brand enhancement, requiring the assistant to enforce consistent brand standards and contribute to the ongoing development of the brand's visual identity. The role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate marketing objectives into creative strategies, as well as project management skills to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The assistant will also engage in quality assurance, analyzing content performance to adjust strategies based on user engagement data. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the UNV Multimedia, Content Creator Assistant include:
Creative Development and Video Editing: Conceptualizing, designing, and producing visually compelling content for various platforms, including graphics, animations, and video assets. Assembling and editing raw footage while managing post-production elements to ensure logical sequencing and visual consistency. Developing storyboards and scripts for video concepts aligned with campaign goals.
Brand Enhancement: Enforcing consistent brand standards across all materials, including video content and graphic elements. Contributing to the development of the brand's visual identity based on current design trends.
Content Creation and Multimedia Storytelling: Developing original content that effectively communicates the brand narrative across various media. Utilizing motion graphics and design elements to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand marketing objectives and translate them into creative strategies. Coordinating with internal departments and external agencies to ensure cohesive multimedia content.
Project Management: Prioritizing and managing multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines. Balancing creative desires with operational constraints to produce high-quality work.

Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in French is highly desirable. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication with diverse stakeholders.
Additional Notes: This is a national UN Volunteer assignment, and the volunteer will be responsible for arranging their own housing and living essentials. The contract duration is subject to availability of funding and satisfactory performance, with no expectation of renewal. The UN Volunteer will receive a Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) of USD 32,393.59 per month, which is intended to cover housing, utilities, transportation, communications, and other basic needs. National UN Volunteers are also part of the malicious insurance plan.
