Job Overview: The Data ProcessingCoordinator is responsible for managing and recording information in Childdata, COMMs, and other systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards and timelines for various sponsorship products. The role involves processing an average of 7,000 SCI/SCU annually and handling approximately 200 letters monthly. The coordinator will review data collected in the field to ensure it is up-to-date and available for annual sponsor assignments and updates. This position requires effective communication and coordination with the assigned program unit to ensure the smooth operation of sponsorship communications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and update information in the corporate Childdata system based on field data to maintain accurate records for sponsor assignments.
Review and register sponsor correspondence received from National Offices in both hard copy and digital formats.
Process SC letters while ensuring compliance with established timelines.
Ensure the quality of information processed in the system.
Coordinate with the assigned program unit to ensure effective sponsorship communications.
Maintain internal relationships with the Sponsorship Coordinator, Sponsorship Specialist, Lead Facilitator, IT Department, and Development Facilitators.
Collaborate with external translators as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Technical experience in data processing.
A minimum of 1 year in a similar position.
Knowledge of Windows and Office packages, internet, email, and databases.
Basic English proficiency is desirable.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective decision-making and communication skills.
Respect for diversity in cultural, ethnic, and gender contexts.
Educational Background: A minimum of two years of university studies in Administration or Humanities is required for this position. Candidates should have a solid understanding of data management and processing.
Experience: Candidates should have at least one year of experience in a similar role, particularly in data processing and management. Experience in working with sponsorship programs or child-focused initiatives is a plus.
Languages: Basic English is mandatory, while proficiency in additional languages would be considered an asset. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.
Additional Notes: This is a temporary position for a duration of 3 months.
